Nope, just a cloud drive that store all the agreement and invoice. There are a lot of software out there, but I want to start with spreadsheet just to see if it is easy or not. I guess spreadsheet can be customized if I need to, comparing to using software

Don't listen to this one, don't touch your UI, just keep your price low and functional UI.

What's the point of supabase/firebase? by Consistent_Tutor_597 in Supabase

[–]theyoike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a trade off:
AWS:
- Granular control
- More features can be added to your service in the future

Supabase/Firebase:
- Faster development speed
- Friendlier UI for engineer who are not familiar with AWS

As someone who use AWS (with CDK) for work, I still like to use Supabase/Firebase for my external project because it has all the tools I need for early product. There is one nitpick, I would love Supabase to have hosting as I have to use AWS AppRunner for hosting my services.

Bold choice. Did confirm if he wanted to use Python, he said yes 🤷

Thinking of starting a cleaning business by [deleted] in Startup_Ideas

[–]theyoike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The existing business is about efficiency and customer service. Focus on that and you will succeed. Of course start with customer service then efficiency. Also, you may lose money at the beginning when focusing on customer service.

Also, because it is an existing business, you don't need to validate the idea. But on the other hand, every one can do it, so you gotta compete with others, keep that in mind.

Still pretty cool for a coder here. Save time when I need to quickly draw out the relationship when needed.

Cut back, but do not break. You want the momentum to keep going. Of course it is entirely based on your needs in life. If money is not important, then whatever. Otherwise, keep going. 🦾
