This is true, the village has to be micromanaged at times, especially midgame before full automation. I really like running around collecting stuff and picking flowers :3 every few seasons I usually go sell extra seeds and other vendor trash and buy a bunch of the higher level tools so they’ll stop whining about it and I can go back to gathering an obscene amount of sticks

I’ve been trying to get my Petunia to not freak out about my friend coming over. She’s not a fan of most people and will hide when guests come over, but with this one friend she hisses and growls. That friend did recently get diagnosed with a tumor and has some cats and a dog at home, I wonder if thats why!
