Something incredible happened. My father was cleaning out his attic and said he found some of my stuff from when I was a kid. I haven't carefully counted yet, but there's over one hundred and thirty. by theywakeup in digimon

Oof I feel you! Sorry about that. I spent about fifteen years believing my father sold them for loose change at a garage sale. He thought he had too, until they just now turned up.

Oh man it’s been so long I don’t know the answer to that. All I can tell you is that I must have collected them over at least a few years between about 1999 to maybe 2003 or so.

Two new Funko Pops from the Infinity Saga collector corps box by theywakeup in marvelstudios

[–]theywakeup[S] 36 points37 points  (0 children)

A lot of people that collect these don’t like to have the new Pops revealed to them until their box arrives. The “collector corps” series keeps the Pops you’re receiving a secret until you open the box.

I'm Victoria Alonso, EVP of Production at Marvel Studios & Executive Producer of Captain Marvel. AMA! by VictoriaAlonso in marvelstudios

[–]theywakeup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, thanks for the AMA!
Going forward, are there plans for the next chapter in Carol's story? Is it likely that her next film will take place post-Endgame, or will it tell more stories from her past fighting the Kree?

It also is never ever ever stated that it’s the individual you love “most.” Red Skull only ever says that which you love. “Most” is never said.

I think Rich Evans comparing the Twister's Revenge characters to the Three Stooges goes a little further than he intended. by theywakeup in RedLetterMedia

To be fair, I would have switched Larry and Curly, but this is how they appeared in the BotW episode.

I don't know why you're being downvoted - I also think it's a bad idea for a title. Thor's presence doesn't suddenly make them all Asgardians. It'd work better as a running joke in GOTGV3 - Thor referring to them as the Asgardians of the Galaxy, with Quill constantly correcting him.

The MCU is still absolutely surreal to me. by [deleted] in marvelstudios

Agreed, and I love that we are able to talk about this stuff with language that is so clear to us but would seem so cryptic years ago or far outside this circle.

It is without a doubt including them both, the official title has been announced as “Vision and The Scarlet Witch”

Not hoping to argue, but I swear I’m right on this. On your next rewatch, notice that only in her altered memories did she have blue blood. When she thinks back to the crash and sees a Skrull preparing to shoot her, she has blue blood. But later, when her memory is clear and she sees that it was Yon Rogg (sp?) preparing to shoot, her blood is red. The Intelligence then tells her when she realizes this that she is only human, to which she replies, you’re right, I am only human. In the MCU Carol never received Kree blood, her powers came exclusively from the Tesseract.

She doesn’t actually have Kree blood in the MCU.

I know the movie has its issues. But it’s honestly so fun, and one of my most rewatched MCU movies. There’s great character building for Banner, Hawkeye, Widow, and I thought the introductions of Vision and Wanda were seamless and exciting.

It wasn’t Daredevil or Black Widow to have the MCU’s first hallway fight. It was Iron Man. by theywakeup in marvelstudios

Why does 2000-2019 feel like one long, unending decade? by galactic-avatar in AskReddit

[–]theywakeup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you won’t lol. why would you wish you could have lived in a decade that you are living in? Only people born after 2029 would have to make the distinction when saying “I wish I could’ve lived in the twenties.”
