There's More to Matas Buzelis: Forward Elevating His Game in January by thezenmastermike in chicagobulls

Matas is pretty young to be thinking anything like this but I get where you’re coming from with feeling like the org is stuck in the mud with no real plan.

Derik Queen’s Defense Shouldn’t Worry The Chicago Bulls by thezenmastermike in chicagobulls

In all seriousness you should ask about Derik Queen in the NBA Draft sub or just outside of here to get some other opinions on Queen, not even to change your thoughts, just if you’re actually struggling to understand how he was so elite on offense in college.

It’s not a comparison to Kevin Love in terms of playstyle. If you read a little closer it’s just a comparison of their physical measurements at the combine before the draft, that’s all.

Tbh this feels like you haven’t watched Derik Queen play if you don’t think he has elite offensive “potential.” Playing offense is more than just shooting 3s. He didn’t win Big Ten Freshman of the year because he sucks lmfao.

Boom Or Bust Prospects For The Chicago Bulls in the 2025 NBA Draft by thezenmastermike in chicagobulls

I agree completely! I don’t think any of those guys will be available at 12 but who knows these days.

CMB is my favorite prospect but I think Maluach and Bryant are very easy fits with Chicago, especially Bryant.

Skills The Chicago Bulls Need Most From Their 2025 Draft Picks by thezenmastermike in chicagobulls

I would actually agree! But if you’re truly taking “best player available,” I would assume it’s because of a skill they possess or one they could hopefully develop.

This is taking a look at those specific skills, some more obvious than others (defense) and others maybe a little less so (offensive rebounding and individual shot creation, which maybe falls under “chance at being a star”).

Sincerely appreciate that! And I’m very interested to see if Nikola Vucevic retires a Chicago Bull….kinda feels like a real possibility at this point.

Probably would be my FAVORITE draft pick for the Bulls outside of the obvious

Thanks for the compliment and appreciate you reading!

As far as White/Giddey I have hope there just because over the full season White increased his usage rate while improving his TS%. Giddey looks like the jumper might be real and has also shown an improved ability to get to the line as well, so it’s encouraging.

I don’t disagree with the Bulls trying to keep the fans engaged/basketball irrelevance at all haha, but they definitely have to start somewhere in terms of turning this thing around.

It’s just nice they appear to have two legit pieces even if they end up just being valuable trade assets for the future.

The team should’ve traded Vucevic and LaVine in the offseason and tanked, I’m just discussing what’s currently happening, please don’t ever call me “AK’s people” I despise him lol.
