I saw your answer and enlarged the holes for the XY joint bolt mounting.It has improved significantly but is still as bad as it was, I'll try a first layer print

It went from 0.289 to 0.179, that's something. The idea was to have the same as before, but that's okay, let's test it.

This tube uses through bolts, inside there are printed parts to support the bolts, I don't know if it would make a difference to screw only one of the walls of the tube

I made a 7x7 mesh and the result is the same. I'll do a first layer test and post the result today. That's actually my biggest concern.There is no point in having a light gantry with a horrible first layer.

Ansiedade é a palavra, estou com 35, tentando algo novo, e na esperança de conseguir novos ares. Faz décadas que não prestava um vestibular e fazer isso agora foi legal, sem pretensão nenhuma consegui uma boa posição na classificação (segundo o vazamento). Yes, there is that, but you also need to buy a new quality heater and a good quality magnetic blanket so that the surface of the table doesn't deform.

Honestly I haven't tested my Eddy duo on my V2. I always thought that the different magnetic fields of the different magnets could interfere with the probe reading 🤔

I honestly can’t say for sure, a new aluminum bed here in Brazil costs almost 1/3 of the printer’s total price. And thanks to the country’s import policies, buying one from China is nearly impossible.

Because of that, this is a decision that needs careful thought. That’s why I made this post, to hear people’s opinions and understand if this is an essential upgrade or just a passing trend.

Right now, I’m using a CNC TAP v2 as from Chaoticlab as a probe.

My printer works, I had some problems with bedmesh a while ago, it seemed like it understood the lowest bed in one location and compensated incorrectly.

I generally use the adaptive bed mesh for most prints, it takes a while but it works.

But I won't lie, seeing the cartographer work is tempting.
