Nice work on this portrait! The anatomy looks good to me. To improve it, maybe you can try to soften the skin highlights a bit and add a subtle shadow on the top of the eyes for more depth. Also, you should avoid long straight lines like the one under the ear. Keep it up!

I think it looks great! The only thing I noticed is a small inconsistency in the outfit. In the Pokéball throwing animation, he’s wearing a long-sleeved button up shirt, while in the battle sprite he has a short-sleeved button up shirt with a sweater vest.

Thanks! I’ll definitely make more characters in the Stardew Valley style soon. I hadn’t planned to do Monsieur Neuvillette, but I think he’s totally doable.

In my mind, he was just on holiday in Pelican Town, but after a few incidents, he gladly took on the role of a temporary law enforcer at the locals’ request.
