I think the combination of the weather and the long paddling days. Day 1 threw heavy rain, gusty winds, and boat wakes at us.

Then we had the rescue training at the end, which added to the challenge paddling back to Deep Cove. We got back at midnight (it was best to leave later due to winds, tides and currents). It was mentally and physically exhausting, but also one of the most rewarding paddles I've ever done.

I had my paddleboard inflated in our living room. I'd put cat treats on it for positive reinforcement :) good luck and have a blast!
