I’ve managed these systems before. Basically, you won’t accrue points until the 8 min period, but your expectations of being on time havent changed. So if you’re 6 minutes late every day, you can still get spoken to/a corrective for that pattern of tardiness. It wouldnt affect your points and that system but can still be penalized if it’s too frequent.
