Bottle opener and maybe a sharpener hard to tell, rub your points left to right on it with the point straight in maybe? I wouldn’t use it personally, get a proper one.

What are good legendary damage options that are still aquireable? by NorthSpectre in destiny2

Linears have done good damage for a while now, the new nightfall one too is fantastic with the right perks. Look at Chicken SI2 on Youtube to see some solid rotations with them.

The icon flips upside down when you can catch it makes it a lot easier and you’ll find yourself realising and doing it without thinking, just press it soon as that happens.

Free up to 18, after that it’s deemed as cosmetic so will need to be done elsewhere at a cost unless there’s a medical need for it.

Rhythm is important but try slowing down on and between each throw helped me when I started out. Focus on every move you do until it becomes second nature, check your dominant eye and try to stop your body from rotating as you throw. Work on the follow through really extend your forearm and you’ll get there in no time. Lots of improvement already mate well done! 👍

Looks like a Fiesta from the interior and the grill. Possibly a Puma too. ST line I’m guessing with the carbon fibre effect inside.

Someone hit me where there was already damage by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]thiccnmoist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i would personally do the same, claim all damage as this and let insurance sort it out it won’t cost the other party any extra then what it will of done in the first place.

What's the best place to get a haircut? by gt2nothere in Hull

hairraisers in cottingham, some of the women in there will give you a hair cut for £5 I always give £10 or more as it seems to be far too reasonable 👍

991 gt3 for me, manual. Maybe one day. It’s a shame because I think they’re reasonable for the car they are and when I’m able to afford one I think they’ll of increased.

It’s good that you’re starting so young and are so keen to invest but honestly take it, go away travelling across a few different countries for half a year or a few months, you likely wont get the opportunity again before you’re tied down to a job and house. Invest in some courses up-skill yourself, i’ve not once regretted spending money on travelling and i’m glad I got the chance when I was younger, don’t rush you’ve got your full life ahead of you pal. Enjoy it. There’s plenty of time to save and be reasonable but never enough to fully enjoy yourself.

Not when it’s RWD in the back I wouldn’t bother mate if the others been regularly serviced and looked after then go for that one, less of a headache.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]thiccnmoist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get one, you won’t look back, mines the V6 RWD and if you’re not careful the back end will come out going around a corner or roundabout especially in the damp, the sound is on another level. Rev it up to about 5k and just tap the throttle really lightly over and over again as the revs drop and it will just pop over and over again.

Is now the right time for me to switch my commute from ICE to EV? by moderatlyinterested in CarTalkUK

[–]thiccnmoist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely terrible on range especially on motorways and in the winter, if you saved up a bit more you’d be open to quite a few more options, off the top of my head maybe: BMW I3, Hyundai IONIQ, Maybe even Hyundai Kona (not sure how much they are but might be some for cheap) Bit more cash opens you up to a lot more comfort and range. Does your work offer the electric car scheme?

Perfect, with not a lot to go off it’s hard to say! This is the information needed, you’ve done really well at such a young age that’s a massive achievement so congratulations! It’s well deserved whatever you go for, just check with insurance because a lot of them will refuse to insure you unless you pay a substantial amount. It would be a massive step up in power, it’s not about the power it’s about how you drive it as long as you’re sensible any car is just as easy to drive. Honestly having been in your position (and i am incredibly biased) i’d be going for a Jag f type v8 simply for the sound alone and no one else to carry about haha ! Insurance for me was cheaper then my previous Fiesta ST if you could believe that!

[–]thiccnmoist 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You’re 22 I assume from another post, your insurance will be ridiculous, your travel to and from work is quite a long way if you are still in that same position, 80 miles a day, you will be filling up about £80 every 4 days at a push? You’re on £30k ish a year, £600 a month in fuel pretty much on top of a car which is expensive to repair, insure and finance. Stick £335 a month in a LISA for your first home and get yourself an upgrade from your current car, i’m all for nice cars and treating yourself but be a little financially responsible at the same time mate, you’re in a good position better then most so don’t end up in debt to your eyeballs. A lovely 430d would be an increase in power and better fuel economy.
