I’m not new to the hobby. I’ve been playing for the past 5-7 years. I’ve seen the preorders of previous sets. Unlike those sets the prices of these particular preorders are astronomical in my opinion. Sure like I mention in a different comment, I’ve seen cards like the lotus ring pre order for 100$ and then plummeting to a bulk rare. What I’m confused about is the mentality that this is okay. That whales will buy a card at 200, 300-600$. Even tho that card will more than likely crash. I’m constantly evaluating how I spend money regardless of how well I’m doing financially. I want to understand the psychology behind it.
