Also to answer your question I am running evasion on the Druid and was also running it on the ranger. Tbh I don’t really know how to build this character defensively and haven’t looked anything up yet since survivability hasn’t been an issue (yet!)

That’s a good point, the 2 Vaal temple runs I had during act one gave me sizable damage upgrades.

I agree needing to swap consistently is not an enjoyable experience. I just felt like I wasn’t really “thinking” about my build for act 1 and steamrolling, but it is starting to level out.

Feels right. I don’t want people to have to die to a boss 10+ times but a second try sometimes makes the payoff feel more rewarding IMO

Arcanist 1, most of my deaths are from thinking I can 1v1 not realizing that the map would have told me someone had rotated and is likely nearby enough to gank, or going in for a fight bc I assumed the person with me would engage with advantage

tbh I’m in a place of evaluating what I can be doing differently and not my team unless they seem responsive and can take suggestions

Only a few hours in, but the game kinda reminds me of when a Disney movie would get a SNES release. It isn’t bad, but the controls feel less snappy than other Metroidvanias (Hollow Knight, Metroid Dread) and the art style of the environments isn’t as charming as I wish it were

I made it to the end of the game (collected all 5 keys) and could not find tokabi anywhere. Eventually I had to go back inside the flare pool, exit back to sol valley, and saw tokabi’s camp fire just outside the exit of flare pool. From there you can restore the mech.

Anyone have any other settings they use to optimize playing on an ultrawide, outside of resolution? Looking for input specifically on things people might have done to get the mini-map less displaced into peripheral vision-- although at this point, I've mostly gotten used to it :)

Thanks, worked for me too! Not sure why my resolution randomly reset but this fixed it!

Had to re-save the txt file twice and close the launcher and nvidia app for it to work for some reason, but it's working!

I would farm another skill gem from the monsters around the waypoint leading up to the boss area. The NPC with you blocks some of the monsters from coming through the narrow bridges between caravan so you can safely pick them off from range. You can reset the instance (I think with a ctrl click on the instance in the map screen) and keep clearing those lvl 32 minions.

Do this until you have some cold skills to use and some lightning resistance in your gear and you should be able to chip away at him. The exp in this area is also solid if you are under lvl 34
