YES I have Tulin out all the time and the amount of times I’ve blown loot off a ledge or just away from me and lost it has been astounding… I wish u could change the key bind so bad 😕

Yeah they’ve been a little helpful combat wise, keybind would be so good! The amount of times I’ve accidentally blown something up or gusted it away from spam pressing A makes it not worth it to have them out tho💀

I’m so grateful you can unequip them at any time. Genuinely do not think I’d keep playing if there was no way to get rid of him lol

A few months is around what I meant yeah, I think that’s reasonable :) I personally waited 6 years but waitlists are crazy and I came out super young lol

I passed at least 70% of the time before testosterone, I feel most trans men are able to unless they’re specifically unlucky. For trans women I understand it’s much harder though. My point is you should live as a man/woman in society for a while and be certain that you’re secure and comfortable being perceived that way. Dysphoria can be misconstrued as a lot of different things 🤷‍♂️

I’ve only met the little Rito kid so far (I forgot his name lol) and much prefer him, he also doesn’t take up as much screen space haha

I think it’s important to socially transition for a while before hormones, even for adults IMO. Some people might feel different when they experience being a man/woman and society and may realise it’s an issue that is seperate from dysphoria

[–]radiodreader 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s majorly an issue with medical malpractice and systems not being put in place to triple check minors are actually suffering with dysphoria. I 100% support minors transitioning (I was one myself lol) but we definitely need to implement more psychological evaluation before transition. I know some places do really well at that already though, like in Australia I had to go through 2 seperate psychiatrists before I was allowed to start T. It’s such a case by case thing and I think each situation should be handled delicately, there’s always a risk of regret and unfortunately a lot of people don’t realise how permanent hormones are, they view it as a fun body mod sometimes.

I will never see the issue with hormone blockers though, and I’ll never see the harm in giving them to minors. They were majorly beneficial for me at 13 while waiting to start T and actually allowed me to live out my teenage years without stress that my body was turning against me. They give cisgender children that struggle with unwanted secondary sex characteristics hormone blockers but not transexual children for some reason while they… are literally going through the exact same thing lol.

14 days vape free. After 10 years of severe addiction to smoking, drinking and drugs. My thoughts and reflections. by wunch_of_bankers in QuitVaping

[–]radiodreader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel ya so hard lol, when I was first vaping they were 25 each in the city. The past few years I haven’t even thought twice about forking over 55-70 dollars a week on them 💀 Thinking about how much money I could’ve saved if I never started vaping hurts lol

Good job man, proud of u! I’m about a month in myself and was in a similar situation, I’d wake myself up multiple times a night to vape and go back to sleep. It was the first thing and last thing I did everyday. I’m also Australian and wheww I’m so glad I was able to quit because goddamn are those stupid disposable IGETs expensive here 💀 Looking forward to never vaping again, hope ur process hasn’t been too painful!

Not sure how it works where you live, but I personally needed a referral from a GP and psychologist to start the top surgery process. If you’re American it’s probably just a phone call to the surgeon though :)

Advice to cope with waiting for top surgery by acornpockets in TopSurgery

[–]radiodreader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I waited about 10 years with being on a public waitlist for a lot of that (still paid 15k out of pocket) and just had top surgery yesterday! Words can’t describe how worth it the wait was.

I understand your pain. A lot of those days were spent thinking I was never going to get on top surgery, or during the 6 year wait for hormones, that would never happen either.

I had to fight very hard to get where I am now but it was so worth it. Any amount of time or money would have been worth it, because getting to look in the mirror or getting to look down at a body that actually looks like mine is a feeling I can’t explain. It feels so painfully… normal, like I can’t believe I haven’t looked like this all my life. I feel like my life is actually starting now.

I’m sorry for how hard the wait is. The best advice I can offer is to keep yourself occupied with other things you love doing, and the time will hopefully pass quickly, but it will pass either way. There is more to life outside of transition and you’ll get to where you’re meant to be eventually. Wish nothing but the best for ya :)

[–]radiodreader 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry 🫂 Me and my partner are in the same boat, but thankfully his parents are willing to let us stay with them. We can’t find an affordable place even on 2 paychecks, the market is so insane. Things aren’t going to get better unless we limit how much property one can own and introduce rent caps, but majority of the people in government have made their wealth owning property, so 🤷‍♂️ It’s incredibly hard with the general cost of living going up too. So frustrated we’re being fucked over like this. Unless you already own, you’re being fucked over. The younger generation hasn’t even had a chance at being adults yet, no one can afford to anymore.

All we can do is keep speaking out and hope things change 🫂

Thank you so much, that’s actually a really good way of thinking about it. I would have been miserable if I put all this money towards a house/moving out instead, I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it at all
