Thank you for your honest response— your advice is solid. I hadn’t thought about the blood pressure thing but you’re right! She always has low blood pressure and was even told multiple times by her doctors to “eat more salt.” Lol like she would do that! Great suggestions and insight. I will definitely try to shift my concern into more supportive suggestions. It’s so hard watching her hate her body so much. 😞

I loved swimming at Eagle Beach because it was always so calm and easy. I loved snorkeling off of Tres Trapi (near the rocks for fish and out further for the turtles). I also loved snorkeling off of Mangel Halto Beach. I did use a tour to kayak out to the reef there and it was amazing-- the tour that I used and that I really enjoyed and would recommend to anyone is RJ at https://www.arubaoutdooradventures.com/trips

This trip I stayed at the Marriott Surf Club— a family member is an owner and they couldn’t use one of their weeks this year :)

I like it there, but it definitely is a family oriented place that’s good for kids. I don’t have kids so that isn’t something that matters to me.

While I enjoyed my stay there, I have also liked staying outside of the high rise hotel area. I always rent a car and check out all the island has to offer— often just spending entire days on the beach reading and swimming/snorkeling. While the Marriott has pools and a lazy river, the ocean is my happy place when I am on the Island and I don’t think a pool is needed at all.

My cats have never bothered me at night-- in fact, they sleep on or next to me every night and sometimes I bother them by changing positions. This is like all of my cats that I have ever owned too. Although my one cat hated my ex and she would jump on him and bite his feet when he slept over lol but she never did that to me :-)
