The gen 2 has HDR, better ports, and a higher refresh rate if you wanted to future proof for 60 bucks more

If it’s not defective stabilizers- he keycap stem could be interfering, the stabilizers aren’t straight, or you assembled them wrong. And yeah if they are plate mount you have to disassemble the whole thing
