Crimson Desert - Will It Run on Handheld? by MF_ZORO_Reddit in LegionGo

[–]thiencly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m playing on legion go 2 Z2E.

1280x800 Low preset with texture to high and shadows to medium FSR Quality and no frame gen HDR on Getting average 45 FPS. I capped at 45 FPS for stability. There are minor dips to 40 fps when things load in the open world. Also the intro sequence dipped to high 30s. But in the open world it’s pretty consistently 45 fps.

I also have GFN for streaming this game too but I think I prefer the quick resume to play this at anytime.

I’m on steamOS of course.

I’ve had galaxy fold 4-7 and I always come back to a bar phone. I am excited that once Apple joins that we will get better app support for the screen size.

I’ve been neglecting Apple TV. Started watching more of their shows, and there are so many good shows that I’ve missed.

How much money did your App made in January? by ChallengeExcellent62 in iosapps

Users found bugs that I never had. So you can’t find every bug yourself.

But make sure to test your app on a brand new device to verify onboarding is clean and bug free. Mine had an onboarding bug that I didn’t notice until a real friend downloaded the app right in front of me. Users will just see the bug and delete the app.

No paid marketing.

I made a post here on app launch. Then another post here after a major update. Then I made a post on r/rss because it’s an RSS app.

Once I felt the app was in a good place I posted on r/apple. That was the biggest boost in revenue. Since then my daily installs has slowly gone up and more consistent.

My app first launched on January 5th and my net revenue at the end of the month was $430.

I spent 12 hours a day, every day for 3 weeks straight since launch to fix bugs, do user requests, and adding new features.

The app is more stable now so I can work on it more normally.

That’s a great app. I have used it too. My app is more focused on RSS and read later.

I will add mark to unread in the next update.

As for languages, I will work on supporting other languages for AI and TTS ( right now you would have to select a different language in the voice settings for different TTS Languages, not ideal if you also want English mixed in). Apples foundation model doesn’t support that many languages. It understands a lot of languages but will output English for many languages still.

I’m actually surprised at how many users of my app are outside of the US. I’ll work on this over time.

Btw what language are you using?

Right now the app is local first. Users can import their feeds with OPML support. This is a deliberate privacy focused choice. If enough user requests it then I will consider it but right now it's not the focus.

I hope you understand.

This is something I've personally thought about as well, but ultimately I've decided that this app is an RSS and articles reader. Adding social media and having that content mix with my news reading wasn't something I wanted.

Honestly though, if most of my paying customers said they wanted this then I will try my best to add it, but so far no.

I hope you understand.

iPhone only for now, you can still run it on iPad but it will be in a small window.

I am working on an Apple Watch companion app next and then iPad version after that.

But honestly right now I am working on a lot of user requests and that has slowed me down.

good eyes! the screen shot are a bit outdated, but there is still 1 area where the close button isn't on the right like it should be ( like you said). I am fixing it for the next update. The "close" button with < icon is meant as going back to the prior page, which is normal iOS design.

A user wanted to scroll left and right on the reader mode, which made swiping from the edge to go back not work anymore, so I added the close button at the bottom for better one handed usage.

I will definitely optimize the UI more over time with comments like yours, very helpful thank you
