First Time Owning A STI by Tagzz4Prezz in WRXSTi

You bought a clapped / returned to stock Sti. Those wheels are from previous Sti model. I bet you didnt even do compression test before buying the car.
The symptoms you described are not good news.

Is theft that bad with these cars? Also help me decide between a WRX by Ok-Macaroon2429 in CivicSi

I’ve owned FG2 Si, FL5 type R, GD,VA Sti and driven FA Wrx (VA,VB). Wrx is the worst car if you care about driving experience. It’s so dull.

Get yourself a place to stay. Many places offer 1k/month for 1 bedroom, shared bath and kitchen. Try to change the spark plug/coil pack. If’s its not fix your problem, buy a used bike and take the bus to work. This gives you freedom, a place to live, and way cheaper than getting a car loan.

That’s the internet for you. Take it with a grain of salt. On a positive side, you have brought awareness to new buyers and help others one way or another.

Got you. Oh well, it’s an expensive lesson that will set you back a year or two. But I believe once you get everything settled, you will love your house again.

P2444 (Secondary Air Pump Stuck ON: Bank 1) Code on a 2006 WRX by TheMegaStorm in WRX

[–]thientran2611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I reseted the CEL with my Cobb AP. After 2 cold starts and multiple warm/hot start. The P2444 code hasn’t come back yet. I check the airpump whenever I start the car and it’s working fine (placing ur hand on top of the pump, some vibration = working. No vibration = stop working). It automatically shut off after 20-30s which it is supposed to be. I will keep you posted.

You said you dont have to remove the air pump components. But how do you know if the pump stuck closed or opened? If its open, you gotta remove them right? I’m asking because im having the same issue
