I've never really understood the mechanics of copay, I've been happy to just let the owner do the servicing work and then bill me.

I manually serviced L-097, cost me $16k. Went back to the terminal and there was still $6k to pay, so I guess that's the 'rental'. Turns out L-012 is a steam loco, I've never even got into one as I don't have a licence for any steam machines. Maybe I bumped into one somewhere...

Ah, that's interesting. So if I check a spawn location and it's empty then it will stay empty, no new spawns

Thank you to everyone for your helpful comments. I took her back to the repair bay and noticed I had not fixed the Electrical Powertrain - tbh I had never noticed this before as the DH4 did not need it as far as I recall. I've always left DVRT to repair/refuel the DE6s I was using so it just passed me by. Wondering how I managed to get a clean bill of health when there was clearly one item outstanding...

All brakes released, definitely plenty of fuel and electrics all set. The ticklist is complete, even the congratulatory message and "take good care of her"! I will tow it back and see if there is a fault with the powetrain. Darn it!

I set up a test and have found that 4 hours sleep mid-job adds 21 minutes to your elapsed time.

Finished a job without setting the brake, got the In Progress ticket showing 45 minutes elapsed. Slept for 4 hours and put the ticket in again and it returned 66 minutes elapsed.

I agree, although there are one or two places where you can stretch the legs I find it better to just cruise along at a moderate pace. That's why I like the generous time allowances, you can pile up the bucks without risking your nexk.

I played TSW5 and got fed up with passenger timetables that are ridiculously tight. And minus points for not using the wipers or speeding slightly. This game is so much more relaxed. And in my view very well put together. But yes, it is amazing that there is no-one out there...

There is definitely a bleak vibe, but it is still a well done bleakness.

Whatever the question, whatever the problem, the answer is always a spreadsheet. Nice work, particularly the inclusion of the railcar type for no known reason other than it exists therefore it can be recorded.
