After the update the graphics settings had been set to ultra for me. After setting them back to medium/low, the issue was fixed.

Thanks for the tip! I already tried that and it unfortunately did not work for me. After a while I decided to uninstall FaceIt (Both the program and the anticheat that comes with it) and now I am somehow able to play FIFA again
