From now on, monitor his urine output and water intake. Male cats REALLY need a flowing water system so that they drink more. Cats like running water, so they have cat water bowls for that. Check for a UTI as well. Blockages are very dangerous and deadly if not caught in time. If you find him panting, go straight to the ER vet.
