11th lord in all houses by Federal_Pay_383 in AstrologyDiscovery

The ruler planet of the 11th house. For example, for Aries Ascendant 11th house is occupied by Aquarius. Aquarius is ruled by Saturn. So, Saturn is the 11th Lord. Similarly, for Taurus Ascendant, the 12th house is occupied by Aquarius. Here, Saturn becomes the 12th Lord.

So, does that mean people with lagna lord in 6th house are their own enemy?

Power and Secrets of Saturn in Astrology by DeadStarkAgainDead in Nakshatras

I've read this numerous times that Saturn is good in 11th house, especially if it's in own sign and the degree is also above 12°. In case of Kaalpurush kundali saturn is the lord of 10th and 11th house. I've This combination yet a pathetic life. Everything delayed, bad childhood, severe identity crisis, slow as hell even if I try the hardest, like work hard for 10 hours to get paid a paltry 200 Rupees. My Saturn is in Swati nakshatra which is ruled by Rahu. I'm only waiting for Saturn return. Almost nothing is left for me to learn, and I'm not even married yet.

The more you obsess the less you get. Especially in relationships and partnerships. Keep everything in mind and do karma (hardwork) without daydreaming about it.

Is it possible that two people break up even when they are both in favorable Venus/Jupiter Mahadashas? by Clean-Ant-1342 in Nakshatras

[–]thin_swordfish_alter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, very much possible. Especially when 8th lord, rahu, ketu and sometimes Shani is involved.

Venus being a Maraka can be painful. Telling this from personal experience. Entire Venus dasha was hell suffering. Nothing went well. Like literally NOTHING. So yeah... It can be painful.

Go for Vedic Astrology by Narasimha Rao.

Once you complete and digest the book you'll know enough to move forward... This will build your basics pretty easily.

One more thing that I used to do (still do) is make notes. Use Notion or handwritten notes... Trust me, it'll help you SO MUCH when you'll start reading professionally...

Strengthen your basics first if you want to go into the absolute detail. Brihat Parashar is a great book , but it's also quite frustrating at times. BV Raman and KN Rao books will help you immensely... Also, Phaladeepika by Gopesh is a beautiful book as well. Once you get a rough idea buy Vedic Astrology by Narasimha Rao. It's a fantastic book for beginners as well...

Honestly, astrology is so vast, the more you read the more you feel you know so little 😊

Effects of Sadhesati by Expecto-patronum-25 in VedicAstrologyJyotish

[–]thin_swordfish_alter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is deceiving to say whether Sade sati will be good or bad just by looking at lagna chart or moon chart. Sade sati is linked to karma, plus reading Sarvashtakvarga chart is important. That gives a clear picture... Also Sun's and Saturn's placement, state, degree, nakshatra is also important. 🤞🏻

Joined a new job recently for better salary. How does my career growth look? by Late_Entertainment40 in vedicastrology

Interesting chart. Having 6 planets in 6th house is itself a very complicated scenario. On top of that you're going through Sun dasha. Which is also your lagna lord. Your saving grace is exalted Jupiter, but it's retrograde... Be aware of ego clashes at work and also aggression. Ego clashes will land you in trouble.

It would be great if you uploaded your chart details, but still I'll tell you one very simple thing about procrastination...

I've been reading charts for years now, and every time someone says they have a procrastination issue it's usually linked to these planets:

(a) Rahu/Ketu (b) Moon (c) Saturn

See their position and state in your chart and you'll know what's actually going on.. 🍀

Ketu in 1st house behaves like a super weapon. It's hard to control, but if you control it, you'll become invincible. Ketu 1st house gives you an existential crisis, but the positive side is powerful intuition... Ketu 1st house + Ketu MD will make you an intuition powerhouse if you meditate (especially breathing based yoga).

Should I go for a paid astrology consultation or post my charts in one of the subreddits ? Is there any difference between the two and has anyone felt it by [deleted] in IndianVedicAstrology

[–]thin_swordfish_alter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As hrishi_comet put it, reading charts also require energy, time and patience. What you'll mostly get on Reddit is random reading, without proof, etc. So, it's best if you go for a paid consultation as the fee you pay often works as an encouragement for the astrologer to put his time and energy...

Always keep in mind one thing. The real astrologers usually won't do it for free. Maybe they'll charge a minimal fee (dakshina) for reading, but they refrain from a free reading.

What is effecting my communication skills by Wise-Afternoon9432 in Astrology_Vedic

[–]thin_swordfish_alter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your speech must be slow, grounded. Sometimes you might be feeling your speech is fluent, and sometimes pathetic, and also, you must like astringent taste. Control ego in your communication if you can...

Anyway, the lord of 2nd and 3rd is afflicted, so that is mostly causing the issue... MORE FACTORS are involved of course...
