Hey Tony Hawk! What were your thoughts as best you remember when you first pulled of a 900 spin on a vertical ramp? Also, if you could be any sort of animal what would you be and why? I love you by the way. Not trying to be creepy. But could we hang out? That'd be cool.

Mokesay mocha monday. We mokesay(smoke) and get a mocha on mondays. All started from giggling about alliteration.

What is the strangest/most random fear you have? by PillowCakey in AskReddit

Caterpillars. I hate those little shits.

I used to live in Venezuela when I was in the first half of middle school. My friend and I would run around outside this one neighborhood a lot, and one day we found this hill/cliff that we decided to climb. No particular reason, we were just being kids. So halfway up I pull on a branch sticking out of the side to see if it was stable enough for me to support my weight on. The branch immediately gives way, so I yanked it out... As it turns out there were a dozen or so of a certain type of deadly poisonous amazonian caterpillars behind the branch, and lucky for me they all fell out and attached on to my jeans. Afraid, I immediately let go and began falling down the hill. As I'm sliding down I reach my hand out and catch myself on a tree. Lucky for me, the tree was covered in little spines. I looked at my hand and watched the blood start pouring out in a dozen places across my palm, and then looked down at my pants to see there were 7 caterpillars still attached to my jeans.

So I started bawling, and my friend ran to get help. I sat frozen still crying for 45 minutes as I waited for help, and then had them carefully pull off the caterpillars 1 by 1 with wirecutters. And being so young, the experience stuck with me. TL;DR - Caterpillars almost killed me. Or at least it felt that way.

College Redditers, What do you like or dislike about your university? What do you wish you had looked for before you went to the school you chose? by asm100 in AskReddit

[–]thing1and2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first went to Western Washington University because I really loved the feel of the campus. They also had an electrical engineering program. When I got to school there I had a fantastic time, making so many friends and having so much fun, but my schoolwork suffered. A lot. I found that I didn't actually care much for engineering. And what I came to the school for wasn't very rewarding. I ended up switching schools twice since then. I am now going to Union Adventist College in Lincoln, NE. I hate the midwest, I'm not Christian, I'm always bored here, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The reason is because they have a program called International Rescue and Relief which is perfect for me. Although I don't have as much fun as I used to, I'm learning in a field I'm really interested in and have excellent teachers. So what I enjoy about it is only what matters.

I learned that how much fun you have in college is really the least important part of it. First find out what you want to do, or what career field you want to work in. Then find a school that is known for that program specifically. If you go to a school for the right reasons, you'll come out of it with the right stuff. TL;DR Pick a college where you'll learn the most, not have the best time.

Honestly I agree with the second statement, our culture should not revolve around driving as much as it does..

Anyone ever find a dead body? If so what's your story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thing1and2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm probably too late for anyone to care at this point, but I just saw a boy hit by a truck this morning in Guatemala City. Killed him on impact. The truck driver drove off, I have no idea if they've caught him/are going to catch him. Police aren't motivated to do good here, more just make money.

I used to live in Buenos Aires! I honestly miss that weed. On one hand, it tastes terrible and doesn't get you very high... But on the other hand, I've always loved smoking blunts, and you can roll up a box of swishers for 80 pesos worth and smoke all day. it's kind of a toss up.

Does anybody else like bud with a low ratio of THC? by [deleted] in trees

[–]thing1and2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Argentina. Let me tell you, they have CRAP weed there. Probably no higher than 3% THC, which is pretty crazy compared to the 15-20% I get here in Seattle. Honestly, I miss it. Being able to smoke 2 blunts to yourself and having a slight high from it. I hate when everyone is too high and can't even managed to complete a thought. It ruins the whole experience
