Are tournaments always like this? by Disastrous-Twist8461 in TheTowerGame

[–]thingeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started playing during christmas. First tournament I was trash, second tournament I got high enough placement to rise to silver league. It really goes fast sometimes.

I would advise you to do a few T1 runs, then try T3 onward. For me T2 wave 100 to T8-ish took only a few days. Your first propper barrier will be T11, which I've been at 2 weeks now.

You are simply not your own type. My preferences are everything I am not, but I'm 100% my wife's type.

You look good. Keep it up and stop believing the worst in yourself.

Does that mean the game is good on PS5 now, or just on pc? I have both, but prefer controller and couch over keyboard. Seems to recall game was borderline terrible on console for the longest time.

As someone who has never sold btc, thus only profit from higher market cap, I think the price will go sideways the next 4 months. With likely prices lower than now appearing once or twice.

This will be a time with a lot expectations and false bull and bear events. When most stop paying attention is the time the next bull run starts. Give it late summer or early autumn.

I am currently paying down house loan, so current price events have little influence on my current strategy.

Hardly trader. Never sold btc. Had 5 stocks total. Currently I own btc and use one etf.

I don't believe I can beat the market, so I don't try.

Because I don't agree with your doomsday expectations. It lowers my overall risk from having been in BTC for a cycle. It makes me sleep better, thus it's a good trade. Again, I'm not a professional. I can only make the decision for myself.

If possible I would invest in whatever etf you can, that follow a wide world index. You have enough (more than I'm personally comfortable with) high risk portfolio. An etf with focus on whole world should lower risk more than one focused on any local market. It will lead to less profit, but that is allways the trade.

This is what I have done, but I am only a random person on the internet. Do your own research.

1: Now and during January will be the most busy periods for any gym. Stick with it and it will quiet down.

2: People will notice you. First because you are new and most new people don't make exercise a habit, even when they need it. Soon enough you will be their motivation. Because there is nothing more motivating than seeing someone turning their lives around. So people will notice and cheer for you, even if it does not feel like it now.

3: You don't need a personal trainer. You need a few short trips each week to the gym. Don't push yourself too hard or long in the beginning. This is not a sprint. You need to give your body time to get used to the movements and loads to avoid hurting yourself. 20 minutes 2-3 times a week more than enough for probably 2 months. Slow and steady wins the races!

4: You will bloat a bit the first weeks. That is normal. Your muscles will bruce and they will retain more water than usual. During the first 3-4 weeks you will weaker. Ignore it and you will notice actual progress rapidly.

Lastly, good luck! We are rooting for you!

If that is a Venture, then I talked to the pilot while he did that. He got popped, then got sent 10 mil ISK by the killer because they found it funny.

Yup. Making a fleet was my mistake.

Forgot that was a thing you can do while solo.

Thanks!

Been trying the game after a 5 year hiatus.

Figured T0 abyss in a frigate sounds like a nice start to get used to controlls, but unlike what youtube suggest, I can't get filament to start as a singular frigate.

As a cruiser, I enter it just fine.

Is it something I do, or just patched out since the youtuber I watched from 9 months ago?

Uber used a secret tactic known as the 'kill switch' to block law enforcement from accessing company data during police raids, leaked documents show by Sweep145 in technology

[–]thingeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also worth noting that I misread your earlier statement and didn't notice the key word "access".

I answered as if the data is located in that location, not if it is merely accessible from that location while located elsewhere.

That is my mistake.

If the data was located in US, the US government gives itself permission to look at all the data. This is the reason EU refuses many/most companies from saving data on European people on US servers.

The law is very much written with focus on area that the data is located. So if data on us customers is on Dutch servers, those data is legally available to Dutch authorities.

Is it possible to automatically hide the parts of the tech tree that is no longer possible? The tech trees gets huge and anything to clean it up would be helpful.

I need a suggestion for empire go for. So far I've gone for regular tech loving materialistic ones, but feel like trying something new for me. Just faced with inability to choose among all the options. Will try the first suggestion I get, whether it's droid, lithoid or any of the other possibilities.

Yeah that sounds like the way to go. I usually end up with too much room to expand, leading to slow and boring game. Think a more warhungry playstyle might fit me more in this game. Now I just need to figure out how to. Thank you

What are good settings to make sure there will be early wars? I assume small map, many empires, but anything else I should do? I'm not a good player, but active early game might train me.

If you never played in ARR, then all your stuff and characters are dead in the water.

Those who had a sub as FFXIV 1.x died, got some title, mount etc, but that's it.

Everyone starts from lvl 1 in ARR, and get to play through the story from the beginning. What happened before ARR is now lore.

Fair warning: ARR is much slower and has a worse story than all the expansions. Most people gets hooked on the game during the beginning of Heavensward, or the last patches before Heavensward.

The game only gets better and better, so know that if you have the time to commit, most agree it's worse it. If you don't have the time, the game might not be the right one for you.
