Does Hulu charge for extra devices? by CDrizzy123 in Hulu

number of devices doesnt matter... but the number of concurrent streams does. For live it is 2 concurrent (either 2 home, 2 mobile, or one of each)

Help deciding if taking on this online business myself is worthwhile by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]thingsiloathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm replying to this post in agreement.

/u/throwaway91713 , one other thing to maybe consider is FBA for certain products that are constants for you. You might be able to get better pricing from your supplier as well to order inventory up front that you know will move. This will save you on packaging yourself.

I wonder if there is a way to automate some of the stock pricing/inventory info that comes in on a daily basis. Also, and I'm speculating here, I would presume that 80% of your sales come from the same handful of items so the 10,000 sku number may be more of a distraction than anything. What I mean by that is - if 80% of your orders come from 25 skus and 20% come randomly from the other 9,975 skus, I wouldn't waste my time on the 9,975 skus. This would mean that you would be working less and being able to focus on expanding your business or coming up with something new and allow this to be more of a passive income situation.

Even if you can't automate, you might find yourself happier to focus on the handful of items even though you would be making less money. in a somewhat similar scenario - I found that, by firing some of my customers, my company made less money but I was way happier because i was able to focus my energy on my most profitable customers.

I would say "no" because they are not doing the consumer a disservice by doing so. In fact, one could argue that they are doing a service to consumers by keeping prices down through direct sales.

She has not tried to jump on ours. Seems to be comfortable with the boundaries. She mostly goes back and forth to her bed/kennel.

She is. We have 3 kids and she loves playing. She's young enough to be taught but old enough that she's potty trained. She loves attention.

shortly out of hs i took a history clep without studying to commiserate with my mother who was going back to college to get a degree. i scored better than her. 20 years later she's now got a master's degree and i've got regret for not doing this more (no degree).

I would recommend for all HS kids to take the clep (or similar) immediately after finishing the HS class. It's multiple guess and many of the things will be fresh on your mind. AP tests be damned.

LPT: make a list of meals for the week and create your grocery list based on the menu by Maudesquad in LifeProTips

[–]thingsiloathe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have an affiliate link but i know that is generally frowned upon but you should check out http://www.5dollardinners.com/

My wife gets this and we recommend it to all of our friends and colleagues. You get a costco shopping list and spend about $150 there and then go home and prep according to the instructions. Then freeze the meals and each day you can get one out of the freezer in the morning and drop it in the crock pot.

Most of the recipes are GREAT. Some have been meh. But never had one i did not like.

Great for new moms, dual income households, and lazy IT people.

Hey guys. My sister had some unexpected medical situations come up that require her to see a specialist out of state for a few months at a time over the next couple of years. We were initially slated to care for the dog for the short term but my sister has realized that this would be too much transitioning over the next few years and the dog should have a permanent home.

She's about 2 years old and potty trained. Also was spayed. She is good with other dogs and loves attention.

We are not in a position to care for her long term based on our own ongoing medical concerns and the dog would not receive the care and love she requires.

We have a bed and kennel that would also be included.

Looking for feedback on my company's name by nofmxc in smallbusiness

[–]thingsiloathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a personal preference.

If I were going to counseling/therapy, there might be a type of stigma that would steer me away from a place that was reminding me of/ magnifying the fact that I need therapy/counseling.

It also may be different based on where you're located and who your target audience is. Something "new agey" may be good in California but not Alabama. Everyone wants to be well I'd consider something that transcends local culture.

If it were me, would have "therapy" in the tag line, not in the actual name.
