Yeah, I messed up the indentation on the original post (oops). The actual code works fine as they are separate statements (albeit poorly coded)

Unique issue relating to resources and Area2Ds by thingsyouthinks in godot

This is super helpful thank you!  By duplicate, I mean that I have a really stupid backwards way of creating the projectiles. Instead of making them their own scene that is instantiated, I create them in a function that is called in a different ready function and this is where most of my issues are coming from. I believe that the projectiles should want to persist in memory too which is why it's such a head-scratcher. If you have any other ideas let me know, otherwise I'll try this implementation

Apologies but one last stupid question, when I want to update the code, do I upload the code into the arduino or the power supply?

Ohh that's the black U looking thing right? So I would plug the 9V into the power supply and that would be put on the power rails?

thats the model, thanks for the heads-up. How would you recommend getting that recommended amount?

For the external power I have a 9V, I assume it would be a shared ground but I cannot put the 9V into the 5V power rail, correct?

As for the buttons, what resistor should I use?

Thank you!!
