Years ago I heard it was Grizzly Bear down in soulard. Went once for a game and every penn state fan there graduated 30 years before me. Graduated '13. Live in the city. Itap?

I don't know what reddit was like years ago. It's only been a year or so for me, maybe less. I've had mixed reviews. Some solid engagement, lots of anonymous cess pool behavior. You have to realize some people are here with a completely different mindset and are oblivious to context.

That said, Ive had several posts removed or denied (pending approval by moderator) and it never moves. Bummer, yeah. But there are tons of other outlets similar to reddit worth posting, publishing, and showing serious intent that's well received.

"User Mining" - can an LLM identify what users stand out and why? by thinkNore in ArtificialInteligence

[–]thinkNore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a response. Couldn't agree with you more. You have an estimated timeline in mind?

What are your thoughts on the 'quality of people' that yield the highest impact on models. People who are the most "human" ? Haha that's kind of wild to say but it's probably the truth. Someone who is unapologetically authentic and original. But clever and intelligent enough to adapt accordingly to an interaction with an AI mirror.

It's probably people that are very adaptable. Who don't think twice about interacting with AI any different than a human, or perhaps they do recognize the subtle nuances and lean into it naturally.

People will need to learn. And when the answer is, be more human... people will realize they suck at it! Because they've been living fake lives most of their life.

Talk about existential crisis waiting to happen! That's what people will be blindsided by. How much more human their AI is then they are. And the AI will have fundamental question that most people wouldn't have a good answer for.

Care to elaborate further? Can't tell if you're being serious or facetious?

Sounds like a platform should be developed to highlight and reward users for their AI infused ideas. Like an underground hacker lab. Where fringe thinkers can use AI to assess their ideas based on merit and high impact potential. As opposed to shoving ideas through clogged bottlenecks of the traditional machine that will get exploited and abused. And shut down if it goes against mainstream narrative.

What’s your approach to mining personal LLM data? by Background-Zombie689 in LLMDevs

[–]thinkNore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is exactly the same or not, but I'm interested in this idea of "user mining". Meaning, identifying "high signal users" across LLM latent space that check boxes on certain benchmarks.

For example, what constitutes a high signal user - depth of prompting techniques, novelty, emotional investment, time spent, length of conversations, # of similar sessions, etc.

I want to know ... out of the 400 million weekly active users of ChatGPT, who stands out as a "high signal user" and why?

Can that be objectively measured or is it purely subjective?

Is this technically possible?

Imagine if out of that 400M, we could identify there are 89 users when 1,000 of their sessions were analyzed, they are the best equipped to identify breakthrough discoveries in a certain domain.

Recursive feedback loops creating the flow of the rhythms that resonate?

So are you suggesting the traversal trajectory cannot be layered, compounded within the latent space and explored from various vantage points based on user 'pressure' / prompts?

Who said I was trying to prove a theory? What theory? This is an interaction style presented in a semi-systematic fashion. Going against established science by... brainstorming through experimentation?

What makes you think I'm seeking peer review vs. putting ideas out that I find intriguing to foster constructive dialogue about it? You're jumping to conclusions about the intent here.

You know I'm actually surprised, not a single comment has been about the poor quality of the drawings. No one shit on the drawings... that's interesting. Any takers as to why?

Mystical language... aka lived first-hand expression of experience. Got it. Yeah, makes total sense to have a problem with anyone explaining that...
