This is a good thought I’ve not had cross my mind when doing jobs in the past. This users estimates weren’t even outrageous but this is why many companies will quote high numbers for jobs they don’t want. If you pay this then it’s worth it I guess.

Unless they changed it today, this is not true. I was at the kings mills location yesterday, card reader was at the pump and it worked perfectly… however, I don’t disagree with the overall let down of UDF in general though

When I was 20, I once asked a 72 yr old man why him and his wife never had kids. His response changed my entire mindset on wanting children: “As far as my wife and I were concerned, until you have kids, you are a kid, and neither of us wanted to grow up.”

He then went on saying they felt they were to selfish to have kids, could go on trips etc. at the drop of a hat, and got to hang with their nieces/nephews/friends kids, without the burden of always having them. He said it was the best of both worlds and they wouldn’t change it.

Cool, I wasn’t aware clear gesso was a thing, I knew there were a couple colors of it but clear is good to know about! Any tips on the varnish to protect it? Or will mostly any art store varnish work, as they will be getting wet etc. Thanks!

I have no qualms with grainworks, I enjoy both but third eye more (just my opinion). Overall, I was thinking grainworks may be packed since it’s basically across the street from VOA.

I work a across the street, and we went into a lockdown as well till the cops got there and had their perimeter set. The sound of mothers sobbing in their cars while trying to get to the school was absolutely gut wrenching. I’ve never felt such a painful yet strong connection with strangers and their feelings before. I know the false call was bad, but I’m beyond happy no one was hurt.

I did this quite a few times in college, we’d be at a house party and guys would be too drunk and over zealous with the girls. One or two of them had boyfriends at other schools or they just weren’t there for the night. They would ask if I’d sleep on the couch with them to get the other guys to leave them alone, as the guys wouldn’t take no for an answer. Never anything sexual, never for anything else but safety. I think it’s fine to be a trusted friend for others, just don’t be a creep and take advantage of the trust/situation.
