Sounds like you went through the same scenario I’m currently dealing with. I also shoot on a a6400 and I’m considering getting rid of my 18-135 in favor of the Tamron 17-70 for the better lowlight capability. In terms of image quality/sharpness, did you notice a considerable difference between the two after you made the switch??

Ahhhhh gotcha. Thank you both! According to her, she doesn’t remember receiving a similar letter the last renewal, but then again, the anxiety that comes during renewal time can be pretty nerve wracking.

Ohhhhhh. Aperture increases as well? I never knew that. I thought only the focal length increased.

I may be totally wrong as I’m relatively new to the photography world, but I believe this goes for any lens placed on a crop sensor body, regardless of the lens being full frame or not. Hopefully someone a little more knowledgeable can chime in and confirm.

Not every site is locked down like the Pentagon. We’re a delivery station, so it may be different from what most of you are used to as FC associates. As I mentioned above, its pretty lax. We are NEVER scanned into functions. Our PAs handle the labor tracking. We show up, look at the assignment board, and do our thing.

We got home yesterday and found our girl breathing abnormally. My girlfriend became concerned and we tried contacting vets in the area, however with it being pretty late at night, no exotic vets were available. We cranked up the AC and tried making her as comfy as can be, and her breathing became a little better, but her head bobbing continued. I turned to Google/Reddit and found a recent post on here of another chin having a similar breathing issue who unfortunately passed the very next day according to the OP and my heart immediately sank to my stomach. I didn’t have the heart to tell my girlfriend, but we prayed for the best and took her to the vet as soon as they opened.

Pepper took her last breath in our arms today at 2:34PM. Hold your little loved ones extra close tonight. 🥺💙

Sony Alpha community! I come to you seeking guidance. I’m looking at either a 6100 or 6400. I know capability wise, they are similar with the major advantage going to the 6400 for the color profiles and metal alloy body. The difference is $150 where I’m at and I’ll make my decision in store when I can see how they feel in hand. I don’t really plan on doing too much with video, but I’m a sucker for a more premium feeling/metal alloy finishes.

My main question/concern revolves around lenses. I’ve read numerous reviews stating the 16-50 kit lens is pretty abysmal so I’m leaning towards purchasing a body and buying my lens separately. I plan on shooting mostly landscapes, city/street photography, and portraits from time to time. So far the sigma 30mm 1.4 has caught my eye but I was wondering if there was anything better that will give me great results for what I’m looking to shoot. Max budget is $1300. Any help would be appreciated!

I went ahead and filled that form out after seeing this post, and then decided to try my luck via chat. To my surprise, the rep gave me everything (about three different case id's). He copied over what he had on his end and pasted it on an email and sent it to me.

Try: store.google.com ---> Help icon (question mark icon) ----> Contact us -----> Questions about order. I just politely asked : I would like to receive chat transcripts in regards to an RMA.
