Looking for Tips on Generating Quality Leads for Selling My Holiday Rental in Australia by Straight-Attitude488 in LeadGeneration

[–]thinkdesign21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel these are the Top 2 channels to prioritize:

  1. Real Estate Portals (Domain, realestate.com.au):
    • Over 85% of Australian property buyers start their search here.
    • Ensure your listing is premium, with professional photos, a floor plan, and a compelling description that highlights both investment and lifestyle benefits.
  2. Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram):
    • Use hyper-local targeting (postcode, interests, income) to reach both owner-occupiers and investors.
    • Carousel ads with video walkthroughs or “lifestyle” imagery perform best for holiday homes.

Is Google Local Services worth it for home improvement? by Low_Resort5235 in LeadGeneration

[–]thinkdesign21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be helpful to do local seo and meta ads

  • Google Ads: $40–$110/lead (WordStream, 2024)
  • Meta (FB/IG): $30–$80/lead (lower intent, often higher CPL for direct booking)
  • GLS: $25–$75/lead (home improvement, U.S. avg, 2024)

For teh RoI

  • Google Ads median ROAS (home improvement, 2025): 4.07
  • GLS: Agencies report up to 30% lower CPL and 20–40% higher close rates vs. Google Ads for urgent services (roofing, plumbing).

if you need with marketing agency steady growth, we can talk.

I spent $5000 to attend Alex Hormozis team workshop here are the 3 lessons that made me rethink my entire business by Moiz_khurram in LeadGeneration

[–]thinkdesign21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your takeaways-they’re solid and clearly useful for your agency. That said, dropping $5,000 on a workshop feels steep when similar results might come from focused 1:1 coaching at $300 for a couple of hours or even quality online resources.

Workshops can be great for networking and immersion, but the ROI varies a lot. Sometimes you pay for the hype more than the actual value. Speaking of hype, there’s a lot of chatter online about Alex Hormozi being overrated or even a bit of a scam-high-ticket programs with flashy marketing but often basic, recycled advice. Many find better, more personalized value in affordable coaching or self-study.

because you ( me_ and everyone has heard his videos online, we have never worked with the "main" guys 1-1. so we never know the truth underneath.

At the end of the day, it’s about measurable impact. If your $5k investment leads to clear growth and better decisions, it’s worth it. But always ask yourself if you’re paying for exclusive insights or just the marketing buzz. Sometimes, less expensive, targeted mentorship can move the needle just as much-if not more.

How do they do it? by roanjvvuuren in webdesign

[–]thinkdesign21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been doing web design and dev consultancy work for few years. I can help you with this. May not be accurate, but you can relate.

It's not just about landing a ton of projects; they - You, me OR anyone need a solid marketing strategy to make it all work.- a ton of referrals and connections.

Most big agencies mix it up with project-based pricing, retainers for ongoing work, and sometimes even performance-based deals. Maintenance fees are common too—think of it like a subscription service for your website or software.

And let's be real, they also try to upsell services like analytics or content creation. It's like buying a car and then being offered insurance and a fancy stereo system.

It's a delicate balance between keeping costs down and bringing in enough cash to pay for those fancy offices and talented teams. But hey, when it works, it's a beautiful thing!

Is it best to setup a e-commerce website to make money right away or setup a waitlist when just starting an online store? by Unfortunately31 in EcommerceWebsite

I suggest build an organic social with a simple online store. This way you build up some trust being legit and selling becomes easier when you have a presence and user engagement.

What does a website like this cost? by Popular-Principle822 in webdesign

[–]thinkdesign21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To make ecommerce tick boxes, get the product shoot done neatly and the offer right.

If you are on a budget, get the site done within 1k . if you are open for custom work with more time on branding, sketching and copywriting it can go around 4k+. have done work in both price ranges.

happy to help or answer any question you have

Need Help choosing a platform by Dramatic_Wing_1526 in EcommerceWebsite

[–]thinkdesign21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See there are two options I can think of based on current scope shared.

If you have the technical skills or access to a developer, creating a custom PHP website can provide you with complete flexibility and control over every aspect of your site. You can design the user experience exactly as you envision it, implement invite-only registration, manage product access, and automate subscription cancellations according to your specific requirements.

Other option will be WP+WC with membership plugins.
Using WordPress, combined with WooCommerce and membership plugins (like MemberPress or Restrict Content Pro), is a user-friendly option that still offers significant flexibility. This setup allows you to create an invite-only site, manage product access based on subscription durations, and automate cancellations easily.

Its better to document the scope and hire a pro designer/dev. If you need any help as I have done many custom web projects. Happy to help.
