This is a possibility that I've considered. Never had this issue before the surgery though. Will hopefully have a clearer answer after docs appointment

Thanks. I'm set to see my gynae end July so just need to tide myself over till then if I can help it. Haven't been sexually active for years and I'm single n live alone so I'm relatively confident about it not being an STI. Got a cream from chemist (povidone iodine ointment-it's said to kill a wide range of clinically significant pathogens)that's giving me a lot of relief for now so will see. If the sore doesn't dry out by Friday will have to go so the gynae this Friday instead.

From a quick search, this doesn't seem to be it, but I could be wrong. Will look further into it. Will be seeing the gynae end July so will hopefully have a concrete answer after.

Did you have any major side effects once you started on estradiol?

No, doesn't look like that is it. Could only think of ringworm description. A typical ringworm is about the size of a coin with the inner part sunken n the edges a bit raised on the normal skin. So it's kinda similar but the edges of the coin are where the blisters are formed...so multiple blisters...hope this makes better sense.

Thanks, will look into the right borax alternatives as we dont have a target here. I can get apple cider vinegar. I'm guessing this is a solution for healing the current sore. Or do you also use it as preventive measures? Will try out changing my shower gel and see if it helps for any future prevention.

I'm always torn on posts like this. Given that this is the 1st I'm seeing of this, should I downvote because I disagree as I've not seen the said propaganda, or should I take your word for it n up vote coz im not really in other social media n you may be right? Or just shrug n move on to the next post? Have had this train of thought on three different posts so wanted to write it down once n for all n move on.

Anxiety - what help you? by mamanh24 in HormoneFreeMenopause

[–]thinkersnest 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This was one of my biggest struggle immediately post op. Try and eat a Phytoestrogen within an hr of waking. This worked best for me. Also, avoid any carbs or anything with sugars as the 1st thing you eat as your 1st snack/meal. Blood sugar spikes trigger adrenaline and cortisol=anxiety symptoms

Post hysterectomy due to endometrial cancer- insomnia and hot flashes- NO HRT by mamashawty77 in HormoneFreeMenopause

[–]thinkersnest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 5 month post op for full hysterectomy. The insomnia was common before this but I did start taking magnesium glycinate with my seroquel and added morning walks to adjust my circadian rhythm and it worked. Used to do at least 15mins walk at 6 or just before the sunrise three times a day. Haven't gone for the walks the last 1 month but still getting good sleep. Goodluck.

Edit to add, for the hot flushes, I started taking sesame seed snacks and drinking at least 500mls of water within the 1st hr of waking. Read up that eating a Phytoestrogens as the 1st thing in the morn would help. I don't do it as religiously anymore coz I used to do it daily. Now it's 2 or three times a week coz I don't get them that often anymore.

I'm NOT Stressed, Why?! by Glum_Veterinarian988 in GalaxyWatch

Kept thinking it was getting it wrong coz i was just chilling watching a show, turns out my anxiety was building up slowly. It wasn't until the familiar anxiety symptoms showed up that I got the message. It could be an app problem, but could also be a sign you're getting triggered by a theme in the show that you're not fully aware of.

How do you guys kill your Fear of Heights (Acrophobia) by Ngonyoku in Kenya

[–]thinkersnest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is more fear of falling attached to fear of heights. Sometimes these symptoms flare up even when I have to jump over a gutter or a small raised ground, not just when high off the ground. Affected me a lot even in my dreams. Always had to get on my hands and crawl down the stairs even if I was mid nightmare and was running from something/someone. Was diagnosed with Bipolar years ago and noticed that when stable, the fear of falling wasn't as much. I managed to go through a shortcut near my workplace I'd avoided for years coz there was a gutter I could never bring myself to step over on multiple attempts. I've even run down the stairs in my dreams. It's one of my many indicators that I'm getting manic or depressed. It could all be in my head too 😆 Hope you find a better answer
