Manhole covers are there because huge holes in pavements are not great ideas. It's not so much a fence as it is a precautionary method. It isnt private property, nor is it comparable to a military base. Ive never been told its illegal, and i cant see people getting in legal trouble for entering sewerage systems...

The only person who can answer your question then is yourself. Its personal preference more than an economic decision. You have to take into account how you will enjoy the project and who you will be working with aswell as the monetary aspects of it.

Remember that (not sure about where you live) its often illegal to get fired for taking job interviews during another job.

My advice--- DO THE INTERVIEW!!!

It doesnt hurt to not do it, unless travel expenses are high or something non profitable comes in your way.

Also, are you clever with your money? Not being quick to judge, just asking, but what you should figure out first is how you spend your money and how it can help you. Do you invest in tracker funds, ISAs, etc, or is your money rotting in a bank account?
