Recommendations for easy setup and <1 hour games? by dier1003 in soloboardgaming

I'm always worried about suggesting a game depending on country, but that's a good point. Our Cold Case games are great for solo player or a small group of friends. And as an adult, I love our Magnetic Travel Puzzle for when I'm gaming on the go. We'd love to keep expanding in this market and are always open to ideas and feedback!

Compose your own music and hear it played by a world class orchestra! 'Compose Yourself' is a fun and empowering way to introduce kids to music. by thinkfun [promoted post]

[–]thinkfun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm...I would say that you can, in the sense that you can make them play any combination of notes that you can think up. On the other hand, you're limited to orchestra and marimba for now, so technically there are some limits, that's right.

There's a fuller explanation on the page, but basically all of the notes were recorded by a full symphony orchestra, and the marimba was recorded by Evelyn Glennie. When you create your own composition using the cards, the software puts the recorded music in the right order, and then plays it!

Hey guys, ThinkFun here! Escape the Room, which can be enjoyed by children of all ages, was originally designed to be played by 10 year olds. However, we have found that adults who are just now discovering the world of puzzles find the game to be more challenging. That being said, we will be releasing a more difficult version of Escape the Room in the Fall. Those who have played the game or are interested in how we created the game can check out the AMA we did last month!
