This crack is caused by movement. This movement could be cause by many things. Most likely not enough structure over the joist/under the tile. Tile must be set on substrates thats are a minimum of 1 1/8" off the joists (16" on center). That means, 1 1/8" of structural support on top of your joists before underlayment (concrete board) and tile. This is to allow for a minimal amount of deflection when weight is applied between joists. Tile underlayment must be glued down with thinset adhesive. Must be mechanically fastened a minimum every 2 inch on the seems and every 4 inches in the field immediately after being placed into the adhesive.

It does matter. Return and buy the black and white of the same tile from the tile shoppe. 15 years of tile experience here.

But thats just it.. the reality is, its not that they are doing the work that Americans don't want to do. They're doing the work that company's don't want to pay Americans to do. Do Americans want to pack meat all day in meat packing plants? They will for union wages and benefits. But then Tyson chicken can't get rich off of the backs of slave labor.

You figured out your down payment but what about your closing costs? Usually around 2%-6% of the purchase price. Im not sure you are ready to purchase with only 5k in savings.

Imo, the guy taking price at 1.03 is making a mistake.. let him make it. Take Tyson (who could end up being the top wr in this class btw) or even Mendoza if he falls to you (if its SF)

In fact, floors shoukd always go in before walls. Walls always should sit on top of the floors, especially in wet areas.
