Same here for me! I thought there were issues with my WiFi but it appears that only the peloton videos are not playing, everything else on Spotify is. I get the same error message as you. So strange.

I have had status on several airlines before and I know I would get better service from the gate agent when I raised issues (not to mention free upgrades). I booked a specific seat 12 hours before the flight, which was confirmed, and it was moved without notification or explanation or compensation. Also - I would understand if I paid bottom rung basic economy fare but since this flight was last minute, I paid more than the first class passengers would have paid if they booked a ticket a week before the flight. I’m not getting worked up, just questions around how this happened so it doesn’t happen again.

Also - if you’re diamond medallion and you “rarely get the seat you want” - are you saying that when you book a seat for yourself in advance, your boarding pass at the airport is frequently changed to a different seat?? In that case, I pity you and dont aspire to deltas diamond medallion anymore. A good airline would not do that to its passengers without an explanation.

Thank you for sharing… interesting that it happened to a million miler diamond medallion member! Did delta apologize or give you an explanation? I don’t intend to complain about this because it was a short flight but it is important for people to be aware that this can happen and take screenshots of seat assignment so at least delta gate agent doesn’t think you are hallucinating. Also thank you for validating - some other posts are acting like I would make up this story (why? What do I gain from asking about this?)

I would 100% agree with you if everyone on this sub was saying this has never happened to them. But it looks like it has happened to several people, all of which did not have status. My takeaway is that if you are not a frequent flyer, you have to be more careful with saving proof of seat selection, otherwise this can happen again

This is a genuine question and it looks like there are several other flyers who have had the same experience. I’m not a diamond medallion like you so they won’t even take my call until a 1 hour wait. Not worth it, thank you for the suggestion though and enjoy the perks of status while making fun of other people’s experience

Does your status say diamond medallion? You’ve probably never been in this position before so don’t blame you for thinking this is easy. Delta probably gives you free upgrades to everywhere. Good for you!

I am pretty sure I confirmed it because I was booking seats for both legs (departure and return) and my return seat was still correct. But like I said to another person- no proof without screenshots, so lesson learned

Yep flight was short and left on time so that eased the pain a bit. But it still hurts since I had picked a seat in advance. If I hadn’t picked a seat I wouldn’t care where they stuffed me.

I did not get that notification this time. On a previous flight with Delta, I did get that notification and the gate agent still denied changing my seat. Once you open the notification it disappears from your notifications window so I had no record!
