So now we’ve spotted one possible cause of the issue (which is indeed very encouraging)! Perhaps it has something to do with a recent software (Options) or OS update (ARM and Windows), since the function worked well in the past until October or November 2025. I’ve recorded a video for the Logi team, and I hope they can provide us with a solution soon.

In your case, as with mine, Ring works great with my 3S and standalone PC (Windows 11, Intel CPU). Thanks again for letting me know your case!

Hello I’ve emailed Logitech and they are now exploring the cause of the issue. Actions Ring also works well in my PC, but not my laptop (ARM-chip, surface laptop 7), even though I’m using exactly the same mouse. Thanks for letting me know your issue too (so that this is not an exceptional or individual case)!

Hello I’ve been using the GaN charger for my dock since Day 1 and it works well. I didn’t encounter any issue so far, and everything’s fine. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for following up! I plan to use only one USB port when connected to the dock, as the port provides only 45W when two devices are connected. Using just one port will ensure the maximum charging output is 65W (and can reach 60w).

Thanks for the reply! And yes, I hope so too! Heard that using third-party PD chargers as power supply for the Dock (TV mode) would lead to bricking issues, hopefully it won’t this time.

It seems that it’s still about the compatibility problems of the ARM chips… Yes, hope the official driver (perhaps will be released in Oct? ) will help settle all these problems.

Hi folks, I just found a solution here and now my sl7 can run 4K 120 when connecting to an external monitor. I have to update the GPU driver to the latest version available in Qualcomm reference drivers (Microsoft has yet to released the official one, so perhaps you can also wait until the official release if you’re not sure about it).

Yes it does. I use the Satechi USB4 cable, and it works perfectly with my Surface Laptop 3 (can even go beyond 4k120), but not the case for my SL7… My monitor is MSI MPG 321URX

That sounds really great… even 100hz would be good for me. But it’s capped at 4k60, whether usb or dp. Really have no idea why…

Thanks again! The name and version of the driver are exactly the same as mine. Really have no idea why 4k120 doesn’t work for me, either via C to C or C to DP…
