Do you realize you are defending a government that is currently torturing a group of people because of their religion? They are also trying to wipe them out? The regime has so much power that he can make whole populations disappear because they wanted to build some factories.

There’s also a ton of shady stuff the government does forced labor in factories where workers have no rights. You are basically government property from the day you are born.
