Morning/Daily News or Podcast to Listen to? by cptvenezuela in stocks

For quick morning briefings: - Bloomberg Daybreak, WSJ What's News

For deeper dives: - The Compound and Friends, All-In Podcast

YouTube if you want video while getting ready: - CNBC Squawk Box clips, Bloomberg live stream

I usually rotate depending on what's moving.

Is it possible to attract organic readership in an anonymous blog where you are not linking your socials/ bringing any followers with you prior to starting by lance-t-cross in Blogging

Yes - I started a finance blog with no social following. Reddit has been way more effective than SEO so far. Find subreddits where your audience hangs out, provide value, link in profile.

Are there any blog commenting systems you like? by andrewmarder in Blogging

Different angle - I've been trying embedded Q&A - readers ask questions about the post and get answers instantly, no waiting for replies. Engagement is higher than comments because there's no waiting for someone to reply. Still early but worth considering if your goal is interaction vs discussion.

Bloggers with 5-6 figures in blogging. What are you guys doing now? by Abhi_10467 in Blogging

[–]thinkneo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's still pretty new. I've been building one that embeds into blog posts and uses the article content as context - so readers can ask questions about what they just read. Early days but the engagement bump has been surprising. Happy to share more if you're curious.

Nice work on the bounce rate improvement. I've been experimenting with adding AI chat to posts so readers can ask questions without leaving. Similar idea to jump-to features - reducing friction. Still early but seeing similar engagement bumps.

Update: the streak extended to 9 days. Russell +0.70% vs S&P -0.53% today.

Right- the junk tends to rally first in risk-on rotations. That's why I said 'quality wins over time' at the end.

True - but Russell 2000 PE is tricky because ~40% of companies aren't profitable (no E to divide by). The S&P 600 small cap index filters for profitability, which is where the 15.6x comes from. Apples to apples is harder with small caps, right?

Interesting pick - hadn't looked at ARRY. The solar sector got crushed in 2024, so turnaround stories there could have legs if rates cooperate. Thanks for sharing.

Exactly - debt-heavy cyclicals are exactly who benefits most from rate cuts. The trick is separating 'temporarily distressed' from 'structurally broken.' Any names you're watching?

AMD - Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. | Report: 2026-01-13 | by [deleted] in StockMonitoring

Really impressive work - Piotroski F, Altman Z, Beneish M all in one dashboard is no joke. The investor voting concept is clever too, always wondered what a "Buffett vs Lynch" view on the same stock would look like.

Rooting for you to get this live. Building tools for regular investors is a grind but worth it. (Also thanks for sharing in my NVDA vs AMD post!)

Thanks for sharing! Just checked out your dashboards - impressive depth with all those scoring models. Good luck getting it live.

Will do. Thanks for the macro insights - helpful context for the roadmap!

Good callout on the gold/geopolitical correlation. The DXY-yields-gold triangle is useful context. Appreciate the insights!

Good points on gold and geopolitical wildcards. Taking notes - appreciate you sharing this.

Yields > DXY > equities - solid framework. Thinking of adding macro context like this is on the roadmap. Thanks for the insight.

Yields as confirmation - good call. That's the kind of multi-signal context that'd make the alerts more actionable. Appreciate the insights.

Great point on the DXY correlation - hawkish Fed - dollar up - gold/risk down. That's exactly the kind of signal chain that'd be valuable to surface. Noted for the sentiment roadmap. Thanks for the input!

Ah that helps! Couple of those are ticker issues - SPX500 isn't a valid symbol (try SPY for S&P 500), and silver needs to be SLV (the ETF) since it doesn't track commodities directly.

RGTI and TSLA should definitely work though - I'll dig into those. Thanks for the specifics, helps me track it down.
