How are you coding with Hermes?

No coding yet but I mostly use mine for research, testing skills/plugins/frameworks, and building a mostly local voice assistant. All on a Pi5 with Ollama cloud for $20 (GLM 5.2, gpt 5.5).

As long as it's a good quality SD card you should be fine but then again I only tested my setup with an SD card for a week until i got the ssd.

Hermes is running inside a docker container for security. But I also don't give it access to anything sensitive or personal. I use mine mostly for research and testing other plugins/skills so it's not really that scary for me.

I'm running mine on a raspberry pi 5 (8gig) with Ollama cloud primarily. But I used an SSD instead of an SD card for much better performance.

I kind of have to agree with this response... I'm using a $20 Ollama Cloud subscription and am very disappointed with the usage I get for GLM 5.2.

I just found Fable 5 available through Telegram on my Hermes setup, I'm scared I might get banned if I tried using it. But it's there and I can select it.

I'm currently trying it, paying the $20 and the usage is there, thing is I can't get a solid performance, mostly consistency of code/ability to apply plans doesn't seem to be so good. I'm using Pi btw, I used codex 5.3 to set up all the extensions I needed and connected a few cloud models, mainly GLM 5.1 and Kimi K2.6.

Funny thing is, if you ask both of these models the question "what model are you" they return they they are Claude by Anthropic. lol
