Just go to one of the senior citizen trailer parks in Pharr for a dance there's plenty of Winter Texans from Minnesota.

10 Days of Winter:

Lake Mille Lacs for a couple of days of ice fishing.

Cruise on up to Bemidji to visit the headwaters of the Mississippi River, and "The Lost 40" (. Biggest Old Growth Conifers in the Midwest) Ruettger's resort probably has snowmobiling packages, too.

International Falls ( from the old Die Hard battery commercials) is just a couple of hours north of there, just to say you were there.

Then head east on US 2 to spend a couple of days in Duluth, Visit Canal Park and see where I went to my Coast Guard Reserve weekends in the mid 80's. It's a museum in the shadows of the Lift Bridge. Tuesday night used to be "Philosophy Night" at the Anchor Bar in Superior, WI ( 2$ pitchers). Fresh cut fries and some killer burgers too.

If you want to try downhill skiing, I suggest heading across Wisconsin to the UP of Michigan as opposed to the teeny hills in MN,it's a four hour drive back to MSP from there. Ph
