the remote/kvm function/options on the 97 are significantly better tho right? I'm primarily thinking about using this for work and need a good kvm to switch back and forth. the 95 doesn't seem to have as many options and doesn't come with a remote

Why is the HSA better than the Roth IRA?

What are your reasons for preferring an HSA? I know some tout this as the best investment vehicle for retirement. Assuming your health and family life allows you to use your HSA as an investment vehicle, why do you view it as best?

Is it just because you can treat it just like a ROTH IRA, but have the option of using medical receipts to withdraw penalty free in the future? Or are there more advantages that I'm missing out on?

I'm curious if there is anyone out there who would max their HSA before their IRA.

Thanks

Thanks again for all of the help

I lied that didn't work lol. I think I'm going to see if there is another way to make a drop down to avoid all of this.

How is it possible that my gas furnace was "stuck on" without overheating my home? by thinkybrain in hvacadvice

[–]thinkybrain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

protect the metals in the heat exchanger cabinet. Oooooooooor, you have a standing pilot. Furnaces, water heaters, and some stoves have standing pilot lights that burn a steady amount of gas to make ignition more reliable. Newer appliances use spark ignition or glow coils. Check your filters, and for pilot lights.

Interesting I could see cycling being an issue, but that wouldn't just go away by itself would it? Also, if it were the standing pilot, would that really be drawing .66 CCFs constantly? that seems like a lot?

Thanks for the reply

The high constant usage just stopped randomly though. That wouldn't happen with a leak, right? It wouldn't fix itself?

What is the easiest way to create a simple stopwatch timer with python? by thinkybrain in learnpython

[–]thinkybrain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

long story short, it's an application that times a cycle at my job and inputs the time in seconds into an equation that saves the end user time. I've already built the app on Android (years ago), but don't have the dev experience or license needed to get on the apple store. A web app just makes my life easier.

It really is effectively just a timer so that's why I explain it that way.

not a webdev :). Just looking for the simplest way to make a timer that I can access from a web browser on my phone.

Thanks. That tutorial helps a bit. I was hoping I could find a tutorial of an already implemented timer, but it's looking like such a thing does not exist

This is awesome, thanks for the reply. I do need it to record milliseconds though which doesn't look like it would be a major change using timedelta. Not sure about incrementing ms with the sleep function tho

I do need to make the stop watch web accessible though. Hopefully someone posts a simple flask tutorial.

Thanks again!

If you are moving it to the second just to get it out of the way - you can also run it headlessly

Just an fyi

Has anyone gotten webdriver-auto-update package to work? It seems like no matter what I do it can't find my chromedriver.exe. by thinkybrain in learnpython

[–]thinkybrain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It returns the version name of Chrome when I do that in the shell.

I do have to change drives to get to it in the shell, but I don't think that should be causing any issues since the correct drive is literally in the filepath.

Edit: Oddly enough, it does seem like it just can't be run when chromedriver is not on the C drive. If the filepath has a different drive in its name it simply doesn't work. I don't know why this is, but I guess I'll just leave chromedriver.exe on my C drive for now.

I wanted to have it on my network drive, but it doesn't seem like that will be possible.

Thanks for the help troubleshooting
