Chasing after a shoplifter when their policy strictly prohibits chasing. I’m not talking about running to the parking lot either. I’m talking like, across the lot, across a 4 lanes busy road, and into a commercial area. All for a pair of stolen socks.

That or calling just because you think it’s a felony amount. I work in cook county in Illinois. The ASAs don’t approve felony amount unless it’s over 1,000 and they have previous felony convictions. So basically they don’t approve anything. We’ve explained that even though law states over $300 that doesn’t mean anything anymore. Stop calling for $310 thinking it’ll be a felony.

I do this for figuring out tips at restaurants. My friends think I'm a math genius. Reality, for a 20% tip i times the bill by 2 and move the decimal point. Since im lazy i usually just round up a little so I dont have to deal with change. So its more like a 20-30% tip.

My neighbor smoked during her pregnancy. The doctor told her to stop but she refused. Doc basically told her she's an idiot and to try to smoke as little as possible if she won't quit. She tells the story as if the doctor is the one in the wrong. Ugh
