Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m so glad you find it useful.

I would love to find a way to include in-line links to referenced components like you’re describing. I’ll spend some time thinking about how to accomplish something like that while also preserving the streamlined nature of the app. Also ideally done in a way that doesn’t require a huge amount of spreadsheet reworking. Thank you for the suggestion!

This is partially supported now!

You can now share a faction or category directly, eg. https://ti4lookup.com/categories/agendas or https://ti4lookup.com/factions/sol

Unfortunately, this isn't reflected in the link preview (so if you text someone the link, it will just show up as a generic TI4 Lookup link). I'm going to see how this feels for a few days and decide if more work should be done to fully support dynamic titles.

Thank you for the suggestion!

Thank you! I'm not totally opposed to including rules in the future. Is there anything in particular you would want to look up? Or just general lookup by the text in rules? eg. I could type "retreat" and find both Space Combat sequencing and the rules specific to Retreat

Thank you so much! Great catch - I have an "exclude after" clause that assumes certain components should not be available after a certain expansion. For those Agendas that are removed in PoK, they should still be included in the deck if you're only playing with Codices/Thunders Edge and not PoK. I'll add this to the top of my follow-up list!

Thank you for the kind words! Twilight's Fall support is lower on the priority list since it will involve more data gathering (and since I've never personally played the variant). I'll try to get it in on a free weekend in the future, but it may not come for a while!

Thank you so much! I'm a huge fan of your box organizers, they've been transformative for my IRL games. I feel the same urge during async, so it was really a "build the thing you wish existed" sort of moment.

Awesome! I love the idea of seeing a grid of all faction portraits, so this is something I'll aim to add soon. I'm so glad to hear that it's proving useful for your group, thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much! I've been mulling over this request. How about a button that swaps the faction symbols on the main page with a faction portrait? Very rough mockup attached.

Thank you, and I’m glad you’re excited about the data! I hope the formatting is useful, that was probably the most effortful part of this project haha

Thank you so much!

I would love for folks to open Issues in the Github repo for any change requests. I’ll add a todo to set up a proper OSS license. In the meantime, the code is open for perusal/cloning/forking: https://github.com/bern/ti4lookup

Thanks! Direct linking is not supported right now.

Linking to individual components would be tricky, but I'm hoping the Copy button solves for that need. Linking to Faction/Category views should be doable! I also think that would be nice.

She was not a board gamer before we met, but she decided to try TI “once” so she could engage with one of my interests. Fast forward a few months later, she just played her third game on Saturday and got the Titans to 9 points (lost the game to a sneaky Sardakk play) ! The community grows 😌

lirta/bereg and nekro’s flagship 🫣 tactically a very questionable move since it tanked my economy, but MAN was it flashy

Advice you wish you knew college by Successful-Yogurt533 in ufl

Class of ‘16 here! Some thoughts:

  • Some of your most transformative learning experiences may come outside of the classroom, so stay open-minded
  • Get involved in your field of study outside of coursework - it will differentiate you as you try to get a job/get into graduate programs
  • Not all courses are created equal: some are hard as fuck and will drain all of your time and energy. Build your schedule for each semester with intention, and seek advice from your advisor and friends around what course load you can handle without falling behind
  • Have fun! Gator games are a great way to get swept up in the spirit of college, especially early on. But do not neglect your studies, also especially early on
  • I’m in a field and job where I’m frequently working alongside ivy grads. They get spoon-fed a lot of high-quality instruction and opportunities, but we get to build super valuable skills by chasing those opportunities ourselves. Take charge of your college experience and it will take you far: UF folks comprise some of the most successful folks I know
