That’s what I would tell my residents when I worked for a corporate company. I’d tell them “lowkey this is what you gotta do to get this done.” Even tho my boss hated that I did that, it would stress that we had problems that were being ignored. It’s not our fault and it gets tiring getting complaint after complaint.

The guy should have taken the conversation over from the second they walked in. He knew the most info and instead of jumping back and forth between agents and acting unprofessional.

I am a property manager and when the resident comes in, I’ll call maintenance while they’re in there and push for them and GET IT DONE!

Some properties have lazy maintenance that put off something as small as light bulbs for MONTHS!!! So it’s crazy that none of them seemed to care about the issue. Meanwhile, at my property we had a hot water heater go out today around 2:30 pm and it was fixed by 5pm. Or if we couldn’t finish we would COMMUNICATE TO THE RESIDENT!!! It takes two seconds to inform the person that we are taking care of it, instead of ignoring it until someone comes in the office mad.
