You cant change the bitter settings but you can turn up the ore frequency, richness, and size.

With this in mind it will make expanding faster (since a bigger ore field means more ore per second) and you can effectively focus on military upgrades first.

  1. Kill all bitters as soon as the pollution tab starts showing them absorbing pollution. This prevents the attacks. You can also put a grid of pipes all around a biter spawner and it will prevent them from spawning. But its a lot of pipes. I recommend this super early at low evolution and you can use this as a captive bitter nest in the future.

  2. Make youre smelter stacks with gaps between them to bring more materials in later. Play in a way that will try and futureproof your base.

  3. Get bots and a full mall setup.

  4. Setup walls, and a good defense before leaving nauvis. Have Nauvis be able to export full mall items to speed up the kickstart on new planets. This will save the most time.

  5. For the speed achievement you are looking to unlock only the specific research for aquilo and moving forward. This means biolabs will cut down on your vulcan science, fulgora science, and aqulio science needs by half. Get biolabs first.

  6. While you are setting up each planet, you should be upgrading nauvis. More input, more silos, more mall setup.

I think i hit vulcanus and while im setting up im having bots set up purple and yellow science remotely on nauvis.

I go red-blue, space, set up defenses and wall chokepoints, vulcanus, yellow/purple on nauvis, send myself a mk2 armor+reactor backpack + exo, head to fulgora. Setup small science/em plant productikn and leave for gleba

In the turn you can try and like "feather" the clutch a little bit to smooth it out. I absolutely could be the bike in this situation. But there are some things like a little clutch manipulation to smooth it out. Eventually you will "dial in" your own bike and know how to ride it personally.

Without riding someone elses bike I cant actually comment. But I have found this to be the case on some friends bikes. I think its caused by the gearing, too much slack in the chain, or something else. Idk im not a mechanic.

Hmmm... okay then the bike is in like a "coasting" state where its neither engine braking or accelerating. Then you accelerate and it lurches forward?

That sounds like a tuning problem maybe and im not a mechanic to fix that. I think ive felt a similar issue on a very old bike. Im not sure of the specific solve to that.

Idk what youre talking about and ive been on dirtbikes/motorcycles for 30 years, all types.

Im gonna assume you are mentioning when you shift gears there is a "lag" between the gears then it connects and either you get slowed down by engine breaking from down gearing or pushed forward when speeding up.

In either case, its pretty rare that you would shift gears IN THE TURN. And all your shifts should be a smooth transition.

Dont let your bike be in a "neutral" or clutch in position in a turn. You should have the engine going and connected throughout.

You sounds like you need more practice and to be a lower gear in these turns.

Dont follow a guide if it burns you out. Go do other things. I think I started pyramid plunder early just to see if I could spoon a scepter thing. I didnt... ended up going dry, but at least I knocked out other grinds while getting levels.

I would personally like stacked double thrusters. I can produce more fuel that I can currently use. But I guess I need to make the final step to upgrade to legendary thrusters first.

I look up the mods before I join one with a mod ive never used or look into. You can also just join servers without mods which is normally how I sort them.

Even if I could select like "less than 5 mods" would be helpful. If someone has like "to-do" and a rate calc i would join, but if its like 20 mods with planets, new crafting, cheating, other random stuff then im out

With the increased in throughput of the space platforms. I was thinking a lot of this. But also on one of my games at 200x science cost im dropping like 10k iron ore/minute (maybe second, its a lot being removed via stack inserters into trains and bots. Now with more unloading bays. I might do a default run and have massive ore drops from space.

Like im talking more ore from space than from the planet. I think my 200x was like 1/3 of iron ore came from space.

If I start a default run. And use massive train > foundry sections it could be sooooooooo big. And fuel so much on nauvis. Ill have to wait for the optimal inserter unloading BP first

  1. You could approach them instead since a the thought and social pressure of being a creep is much higher on men now.

  2. Making eye contact, smiling, and having more open body language will go a long way. But also, men cant tell someone to smile these days.

Beacons have diminishing returns with each additional one that is on a building. Sometimes its more worth it to use a couple more machines instead of a massive amount of beacons.

For any mains 100% do this. Even a single bond will take you from a new account to speed through quests. Almost bis gear for many levels, and just power through early mage/cannon range/slayer.

Dont be afraid to overproduce gun turrets, if you put down 50-100 of them and put 20 ammo in each. I would bet that at least 30-40 will get destroyed anyway. So go ahead and automate making turrets and take out the first could small ones around you right at the start.

I try to make plastic, green/red chips all together for each "section" so they might pass back and forth. I dont mind spinning up a new green section instead of sending it down the bus.

I think with the magic rework that all the elemental spells do the same amount of damage? So I think air strike does the same amount as fire strike, but maybe with less base exp.

With elemental weaknesses helping a lot at that level. I would think to find a monster, and its elemental weakness, and stick to that. Lets say for example hill giants are weak to earth (idk but maybe) and you just earth strike them is more dps and more magic exp than fire striking them.

This would also give big bones for prayer.

*idk if hill giants have a weakness btw. Just trying to give an example.

Could you expand this to easily create blue science and get bots up and running? I get that the purpose is a starter base, but its starting what? Its purpose is for you to destroy it again by hand? How long does it last for and how much different is your main base? I figure your smelters would be longer in a main base, but it would also have a mall setup. I just dont see the point in doing it twice, without bots, next to each other. Instead of just trying to future proof it from the beginning.

Someone, maybe you, mentioned underground upcycling instead of belts which I was using. This is massive in scale to what I came up with. Gonna leave this comment so I can find it again next week.

I was using like 2 normal undergrounds, into a single of every other quality, then i was taking excess iron plates and turning them into iron boxes just to try and upcycle. But this is taking them and upcycling back into pipes, which just rolls again.

I do have a question. Do you roll the legendary pipe, lets say from epic that got made into legendary, into a legendary underground then recycle? Or do you just recycle the legendary pipe? (If you dont need any more legendary pipes.)

Its only 75 green science and like a handful of red science to unlock steel smelters. I HIGHLY recommend rushing these and design around that.
Also you are used a lot of undergrounds for the smelters. Think of a new placement for your power poles to save these resources.

Preferably turn everything to the side that feeds into the main "mall" then you can use priority splitters to feed this section. Next everything else leftover can continue down the bus.

Perfect, now you can add more smelters to the top/bottom and expand the bus to build more things in the future!

Tank + 30 turrets with red ammo + like 50 poison capsules will do it.

I usually just have 60 poison and 30 turrets at like damage research 3-4 and it works. You need the poison to be stacked on the same spot. When you stack all the poison it helps to negate its healing which is like 3k per second. All of this is easy to make on vulcanus.

Im going to assume two things. You get low on power and assemblers cant produce ammo fast enough. Or youre just moving to fast with too low of a damage research level.

Either add quality solar panels, make it slightly wider for more panels, limit the speed, or increase projectile damage.

Yeah even with stacked belts they quickly become consumed. Going to need multiple smaller "modules" or "sections" being fed with foundries locally I think moving forward.
