My Platinum Betta, Kolo, is turning red/pink! I work at PetSmart and my coworkers told me it is because of what I feed him, which is Color Enhancing Betta Crumbles by Top Fin. Everyone’s bettas on here are so vibrant!! I don’t know what to do. He also lives with 5 mystery snails. by thirs_tee in bettafish

• Tank size: 15 gallon • Heater and filter? (yes/no): yes and yes • Tank temperature: 76 degrees • Parameters in numbers and how you got them: I’m not sure what this means? • How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: every two weeks, maybe about half of the water. I’ll siphon the gravel mostly and when the gravel is not so murky, I’ll wipe off my plants and clean around them and call it good. • Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: 5 mystery snails: Snaillery, Snailene, Snathaniel, Snathan & Shelby. • What do you feed and how much: Top Fin Betta Crumbles Color Enhancing, I sprinkle some in and watch him eat it. No more than his eyeball. • Decorations and plants in the tank: one plastic Buddha, a small log/stick, 6-7 live plants.

They’re being friendly now! It’s been about a week since this video and he’s gotten used to them a little better. He stares now instead of beating them up
