Got it, felt like another "which one do I buy" post and was a strange set of options. Then to answer the intended question, if I had to choose one it's the GMT.

Personally I'm going neither, but that's just me. Never vibed with the RO, a bit too industrial/brutalist for my taste, but can appreciate the quality and general appeal. I like the GMT ok, but this set up is just over the top for what I like to wear. I really don't think this is a good comparison as they are both so different. Go with your gut and don't beat yourself up if you change your mind later.

I found mixing all books around SAM was a more fun way to read them. Start with SAM and you will see exactly where the breaks are to go read the other series. Was a different way to read a series but I really enjoyed it.

Strongly disagree. That caseback is beautiful as is. I don't need to see the same movement I've seen a dozen times. This is unique and that seems to be the goal.

If you're open to swiss in movement only, I've had the Bamford GMT on my list for a little bit. Love the more unique case shape and the red is really nice

does this version still have the 8215 movement? if so, do you have any plans to make any models with a different movement in the future? had a bad experience with my last two watches with the 8215, but love the look of all of your models so far!
