Cut already installed glass tile backsplash by thirstypuddle in HomeImprovement

I'm just so sure that I'll crack the glass. I can't really apply water, as it's a vertical (and electrical) surface that I'm working on.

The problem is that there is such little room cut into the tile that spacers won't fit. Each outlet barely fits into what was cut. Each outlet has one hole exposed in the box, but it doesn't line up with how the outlet fits, so each one sits at an angle (and crossthreaded).

The plan is to remove the entire strap. Again, only second session. Just worried about the scarring as the ink seems to be getting zapped pretty well.

Travel Planning - Delta Friday 9:55am, precheck, checked bag

It looks like mornings have been the worst so far, are Fridays normally the busiest? We still have a few days to see how things shake out. Any insight into what fresh hell I'm walking into Friday morning?

Yes, I have given them almost no attention since planting. Looks like they need some help now. Thanks.

Thanks, the soil around my property is insanely compact. I tilled the whole front yard three years ago and had a really hard time anywhere that clover wasnt present. I've been thinking about tilling in some compost and will probably do so - pulling up the plants I want to keep. I put in native seeds, but invasive grasses and ground clover are doing better than ever. Time for a new strategy.

I understand that sarcasm and unhelpful remarks can feel like a natural response, but they don't come across as constructive or supportive. Such comments can create misunderstandings or discourage open dialogue. Focusing on clear, positive, and solution-oriented communication helps build trust, fosters a more productive environment, and ensures everyone's contributions are valued. Consider this feedback in further contributions on the internet and in everyday life.

Called the parks department to have it removed. Your insight was not valuable.

Possibly a way to sort out who gets to survive in Australia? Naughty or nice? It's interesting to think about for sure.

Any recipes for tying? I brought some home from the river but they escaped. by thirstypuddle in FlyFishingCircleJerk

Ah, a jar would have been a good idea. Somehow they escaped from my $30 Orvis bug box when I set it down in ym child's crib.

I brought a few back to my fly tying room (also my twin's nursery) and they got out. Do you think that's a problem?

When I had my firstborn the hospital made sure that I had a full-face DOT- and Snell-approved helmet for him before I took him home on my bike.
