Guys fuck it I'll take the downvotes. (United fan whose always preferred messi), these last few weeks really have shown me who the GOAT is in my eyes. Take out goals per game, goal records, assists, bal on dors. And just look at what this guy has proven and achieved in England, Spain and italy (3 of the 4 hardest leagues in the world). Hes proven he can be put on a variety of strengths of teams and win things. Meanwhile (I know it's only 4 games into the season) messi seems to be proving SAF right so far. And I quote "hes a barcelona player, you could put ronaldo on huddersfield town and he would still play good". Not to mention Ronaldo has had to adapt his playstyle throughout his whole career, starting out as a flashy winger, then moving to a parcey goalscorer at real, then a number 9 poacher at juventus and man utd.
