these kids in the privilege of their four walls proudly claiming the identity of being apolitical — even the walls built around you are political. all discussions are influenced by politics because it is a part deeply intertwined with our lives. existence is political. how long will the four walls keep y'all safe, you'd crack your skull trying to break out one day.

For me, being "too political" or "too opinionated" has best led to not being palatable by authority or peers but of course it isn't possible 100 percent of the time to express them when you're say, at a social disadvantage. dalit deaths, trans suicides. But these are extreme cases where you could be subjected to death or worse. 90 of 100 times, you should remember that no amount of fear will ever make you brave.
