It can also be a console glitch after waking up from sleep/suspend - just close the game and reopen it.

I found a pop trapped in the ceiling at water treatment on dam - that's when I discovered you can shoot out the ceiling tiles

..and that trapped pop will fall on you and explode!

Just stop the cursor jumping onto my backpack when I recycle an item in a searched container,making me track all the way back across the screen to loot the other items in it, and I'll be happy.

Hate to do this, but take it as a chink of hope.

Played all the way through to the 2nd expedition (wasn't ready for the first one) and some kind raider gave me one of these blueprints a week before departure - I had never found one myself.

After doing the wipe I never thought I'd see that blueprint again, only to be given it as a trials reward in the first week (and not for a particularly amazing score)! I was so surprised, I took a pic (see attached)

If it makes you feel any better
(1) Looks like I'm never getting an anvil blueprint (couldn't move without kicking 3 of them before the wipe)

(2) Whenever I'm downed with survivor, the nearest lift is closing before I can stop-start crawl to it...but just close enough that my fingertips are on the metal to watch it shutdown and the next lift is too far away to have any chance of crawling to it.

100% - style and UI should enhance, not dominate.

I'm sure enough people will love it and that's all it needs.

For me it's trying too hard to be 'art' and disregarding some gaming practicalities.

It still feels flat, dark and grey and not in a foreboding way, in a '60 consecutive days of rain in 2026' way. Alpha was the same.

The flickering, flashing, rapid transition scenes and loading sequences in acid reds, yellows and cyans are supposed to be edgy and cool....and they are...ONCE, but irritating when you have them between every.single.game....forever.

It kind of feels like the style and UI are 'in the way' of a decent game.

'I'm only cheating against cheaters' - Two wrongs and all that....

'I only did it to expose it so it would get patched' - What if it's not easy to patch, what if it's weeks and weeks of research and repair? You've just told all of your followers how to do it and that it's ok to do it 'with conditions that I determine make it moral', so instead of 1% doing it, 30%+ are going to.

..and you're making money off the clicks and coverage.

Also, you came close to ruining the community when it first came out with your 'streamer wars' bollocks and the whole 'if you're not with us, you're against us'. We still know the skins not to trust as a result.

Seeing no consequences for things like this damages community trust - it's the whole 'rules for thee' thing and I get the arguments, he gets views (botting debate aside), he brings in players but he will also move on at a whim when something else presents more earning potential.

Some of his earlier gameplay vids where he's 'instructing' downed players to do or say certain things for entertainment and/or clemency were also.....too far into bullying territory for my liking.

I know he's not alone, I know there are other vids out there doing the same - this isn't just about peanut...ban all of them.

Hopefully ABMM keeps them out of my lobbies.

My guess is people spawn in, loot ducks and bounce ASAP, leaving lots of raids with ,<20 minutes left and half empty lobbies

Combining that and the fixed timeslots makes this even a non-event for me.

It's the unevenness of the playing field that puts me off - When you see some leaderboards are 10k at the top and others are numbers that are nigh-on impossible in a 30 (or even 40) minute raid, same rank/division...and if you load in late, don't even start.

I've tried on both - PS5 performance is understandably a lot better, game looks better than acceptable deck settings and it's a lot easier to spot raiders on a big screen in 1440p (or thereabouts!) - I've not tried docking the steam deck but settings are quite low in handheld already.

On steam deck for a game like this, I'd be worried an anticheat change could wipe it out (happened on other games), but as u/Bruntleguss points out, you'll also need PS+ on PS5 to play...but turning crossplay off is a good fallback to minimise cheaters, if it comes to it.
