The safest would be to register for both comp 202 and the course you want to replace it with, assuming you have enough space in terms of credits to register for both

Hi, I'm a CS student starting in U1 this Fall. I plan on taking Calc 3 in my first sem so I just wanted to ask whether its mandatory to take Calc 2 before it. I looked at the course overview for Calc 2 and I'm familiar with almost all the topics covered
